My name is Carmen and I’m the owner and artisan behind Cloudy Confections.

As you may have already guessed, I have a love of marshmallows! But you may not have guessed, that this love has not always come naturally.
As it turns out, I never liked marshmallows growing up!
One day in 2015, while paging through my recipe book collection (which I do for fun!), I came across a recipe for marshmallows and I thought they might be a fun experiment.

From the moment I cut that first pillowy square, it was love at first bite!

I never knew marshmallows could taste so good!
So, I began making batches for my family and friends and experimenting with new flavour combinations, and fuelled by some awesome feedback, I toyed with the idea of selling them to the public.

It took a couple of years to finally get to this point, but dreams really can come true (with lots of work!).

I make each marshmallow by hand in small batches with a tremendous amount of love and passion, using only the finest ingredients.

Our flavour range has been inspired by classic yet delicious flavour combinations, desserts, confections and sweets. Basically, anything that I love to eat goes on the list!

Like tart raspberry with luscious dark chocolate or melt-in-your-mouth Rose Turkish delight swirled into fragrant rosewater marshmallow...even my love of Biscoff was converted into a marshmallow!

I also love to experiment!

I wear all the hats in the biz, from the website design, to social media, to making the mallows, to deliveries and packaging… I do it all!
However, I am only human (and a mum of two little ones!), so I do get some help when things get a little crazy, but mostly what you see, is me, and my little biz is a product of my love and passion for all things sweet!
